MAKTAB MARTIN MACHOT DENG, widely recognized as Promoter Biggy SSP, was born on January 1st, 1997, in Mayom County, Unity State, South Sudan. His journey into the realm of event promotion and artist management stems from humble beginnings.

In 2012, he completed his Primary Leaving Certificate in BENTIU, Unity State, just before the onset of significant turmoil in his homeland. The outbreak of civil war in Juba in 2013 dramatically altered the trajectory of his life. As the conflict spread to Unity State, his father, Martin Machot Deng, a prominent figure in the state legislature, found himself caught in the chaos. Tragically, Martin Machot Deng fell victim to violence on December 21st, 2013, in Nhialdiw of Rubkona county, leaving young Maktab and his family displaced and seeking refuge. Finding solace in Uganda, Maktab, alongside his family, settled in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement before eventually relocating to Kampala to pursue his secondary education. Despite the challenges he faced, Maktab remained steadfast in his pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. In 2017, he achieved his Ugandan Certificate of Education, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.

Driven by ambition and resilience, Maktab embarked on a journey into the realm of media and communications. He enrolled in Makerere Commercial Studies and Media Training, where his passion for journalism and mass communication flourished. By December 2018, he had earned a certificate in Journalism and Mass Communication, setting the stage for further academic and professional accomplishments.

His vision for South Shows, Promoters-SSP began to take shape during his high school years. In 2017, while still in the throes of his education, Maktab conceptualized SSP as a platform to promote artists and showcase cultural diversity. The culmination of his efforts came to fruition on October 20th, 2018, with the inaugural show held at Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. Despite the adversity he faced, Maktab's determination propelled him forward, with SSP quickly gaining recognition for its commitment to organizing events and nurturing talent.

Since its inception, South Shows, Promoters-SSP has become synonymous with excellence in event organization and artist management. From music tours to beauty pageants and award ceremonies, SSP Entertainment, under the leadership of Maktab Martin Machot Deng, continues to elevate the entertainment landscape, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
